The Right Mindset

It seems I always get into the wrong mindset when it comes to God. I
think,  “Alright, I’m gonna do everything with all my heart, so maybe
God will do more for me.”

But what I’m realizing is, God doesn’t think like that. He actually
waits for us to come and enjoy Him. It’s not about doing things the
right way. It’s about relaxing. It’s about dwelling on how good He is.
I like to just realize that He is here, and let Him do what He does.

And when I start thinking that I have to get things right first, I get
anxious and begin striving. I think, “Can life really be enjoyed? Is
life really meant to be worth living?”

But what did Jesus tell us to pray about? He said to pray that Gods
will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. What is heaven like?
It’s a party! Streets of gold, colors the eyes have never seen before,
music more beautiful than we can imagine! Is there pain? No! Is there
strife? No! Everyone in heaven has the pleasure of sitting with God  and enjoying the sweet, relaxing beauty of His refreshing presence.  All glory and righteousness forever and ever!

Jesus said to pray that this would become our earth. That our lives  in  heaven would be the same as our lives on earth. Extravagantly enjoyed living! Because heaven is anything but meteochrity and strife. So let’s have faith an know that God is waiting for us to enjoy life.
